AGREEMENT REACHED ON
EARLY RED-CIRCLE FOR MSO EMPLOYEES

On Tuesday, July 1st the Company and Union met for the second time to discuss and finalize the details of the conceptual agreement on Early Red-Circle.
For the Company were Jeff Boles, MSO Regional Manager, Doug DeDea and Debbie Diller from Labor Relations. For the Union were Dave Baker, FSR Ontario, Hipolito Tavarez, SFSR Tulare, Greg Vetter, FSR Compton, Walt Wood, MR-2 Fullerton and Hank Colt, Randy Heldoorn and Mike Moore from the Local 47 staff.
From the previous bargaining the remaining issues left on the table were length of time for early red-circle, retroactivity for red-circle and which classifications within MSO organization would be eligible for the benefit.
The morning was occupied with both sides exchanging proposals and giving explanations on various points. In early afternoon the parties reached agreement. The following are the main principals of the agreement all effective July 1st:
1.) Early Red-Circle benefit available to all MSO employees including Support Clerks and Specialists. Note – Project Temps excluded
2.) Three year duration for Red-Circle.
3.) Retroactivity to June 1, 2006 for any employee who left MSO after that date.
The retroactivity pay will be issued to the various effected individuals no later than December 31st of this year.
