Injured Member and Illness of a Member

We were informed today that Outside Construction Journeyman-Lineman Ernie Franco suffered a heart attack on 8/20/08.  Reports indicate that he was not feeling well and drove himself to St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, where he is recovering after having a stent operation.

We also learned that Josh Shannon, Outside Construction Journeyman-Lineman working for Henkels & McCoy out of the Perris Yard, was injured on 8/19/08 while working in an underground structure.  The reason for the incident is currently under investigation.   Brother Shannon is recuperating at Inland Valley Hospital.

We will update their conditions as details become available to us.

As always, our thoughts and prayers are with our Brothers for a complete and speedy recovery.
